Execution of two Palestinians in Hebron

West Bank, Al-Khalil/Hebron 06 December, 2025
At least 2 martyred
On Saturday evening, December 6, 2025, two Palestinians were killed by Israeli forces in the Bab al-Zawiya area in central Hebron (Al-Khalil), in the south of the occupied West Bank, according to medical sources. The Israeli army stated that the incident occurred following an attack targeting soldiers from the Paratroopers Brigade, claiming that one soldier was slightly injured and that the soldiers returned fire at a vehicle, killing the people inside. Later that night, however, a preliminary investigation by the Israeli army revealed that one of the Palestinians killed was a municipal cleaner who was not involved in the attack. Eyewitnesses and local sources reported that the soldiers were positioned behind concrete blocks and that the vehicle did not pose any immediate threat at the time of the shooting—indicating, they said, that the killing was an on-site execution. Following the incident, Israeli forces sent additional military reinforcements to the area amid heightened tension. Israeli soldiers fatally shot 53-year-old Ziad Naim Abu Dawood, a municipal sanitation worker, while he was carrying out his duties. Witnesses said he was left to bleed until he died before his body was handed over to Palestinian Red Crescent teams. According to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society, its crews received Abu Dawood’s body from Israeli forces and transferred him to Hebron Governmental Hospital. The Palestinian Ziad Abu Dawood was killed by the Israeli forces, who initially claimed he was a partner in a ramming attack. They later retracted this narrative It was subsequently revealed that Ziad Abu Dawood was a sanitation worker for the Hebron Municipality who happened to be present at the location when the vehicle was fired upon. The Israeli authorities claimed the vehicle attempted to run over several soldiers in the city center. Ahmad Al-Rajabi, the 20-year-old youth who was driving the vehicle, was also killed, and Israeli forces seized his body. **Investigation of Defense for Palestine:** *"Ahmad Khalil Ahmad Rajabi, 17, was killed by Israeli forces on December 6 around 9 p.m. in Hebron city. Ahmad was driving his family's car to visit a friend at Alia Governmental Hospital in the city center, during which Israeli forces allege that Ahmad attempted to run over a soldier. Israeli forces opened fire on the vehicle, killing Ahmad. Ahmad left Alia Governmental Hospital, planning to continue along Beersheba Street and then head to the Old City. As he drove down Wadi al-Tuffah Street and arrived at the checkpoint on Shuhada Street, he saw soldiers stationed across from it. The soldiers were standing in the right lane, while Ahmad was driving in the left. The soldiers yelled at Ahmad to stop when he was beside them in the second lane. The vehicle moved past the soldiers for several meters before Ahmad halted and backed up no more than five meters, when the soldiers immediately began shooting at the car, causing the car to slide. One of the soldiers attempted to open the driver’s door, and as the car skidded, the front driver’s side hit him. He then joined the other five soldiers in shooting at the vehicle. The car kept slowly reversing, swerving slightly downhill until its rear faced Wadi al-Tuffah Street. At that point, an older man, a sanitation worker in the Hebron municipality, was hit by the barrage of bullets fired toward the car. The vehicle eventually stopped in the middle of the road, where the soldiers continued to fire at the car, killing Ahmad. An ambulance arrived, but soldiers fired toward it, preventing it from reaching either Ahmad in the car or the injured sanitation worker. A large number of Israeli army and police units arrived later. At first, the Israeli military stated that a speeding vehicle had opened fire on soldiers in the Bab al-Zawiya area. They later withdrew that claim and issued a new one, claiming instead that the soldiers had shot at a car that attempted to run them over. Ahmad’s father arrived in the Bab al-Zawiya area after seeing a photo of the car circulating on social media. He spoke with the officers, who attempted to justify the shooting by alleging that his son had tried to run over a soldier. The father refuted their claim, explaining that his son had simply been visiting a patient at the hospital and was on his way home. The officers then forced him to leave the area without allowing him to view his son’s body. The soldiers seized the vehicle and most of the nearby shops’ cameras, and took Ahmad’s body and transported it in a military ambulance to an unknown location. Due to the confiscation of Ahmad’s body, DCIP is not able to verify the location or number of bullet wounds that he sustained."* This investigation perfectly aligns with the various videos of the events, which clearly show that the soldiers attacked the car and its driver even as he was complying with their orders. The Israeli soldier’s injury was caused by the loss of control of the vehicle following the attack by the soldiers. Moreover, the injury was minor, as the soldier gets back up and chases the car as it rolls downhill, running and firing at it. **On December 7:** Hebron observed a general strike and shops remain closed in Hebron after Israeli forces killed two Palestinians the revious night in the centre of the city. The strike was called to protest the Israeli army’s killing of two Palestinians under the claim of an attempted 'car-ramming attack.' Hebron’s municipality and the municipal workers’ union also declared a strike within the institution. **Name of the Martyrs:** - Ziad Abu Dawood, 53 y/o - Ahmad Al-Rajabi, 17 y/o, Body abducted by Israel.

Home invasion and abduction of the Al-Tamimi family

West Bank, Ramallah, Nabi Saleh 06 December, 2025
Israeli occupation forces detained the Palestinian journalist Bilal Al-Tamimi, his wife Manal, a human rights defender & a board member of the Popular Struggle Coordination Committee, and & their son Samer after they stormed their home in the village of Nabi Saleh, northwest of Ramallah, and damaged its belongings during a late-night raid. Manal has a history of resisting Israeli oppression, beginning with her leadership in school protests during the First Intifada as part of the student youth movement. Manal has been arrested at least 3 times and narrowly survived an assassination attempt by an Israeli sniper. Her husband Bilal has also been repeatedly arrested and injured by Israeli forces due to his work as a journalist. Their sons, Osama, Muhammad, and now Samer, have all faced incarceration for resisting the Israeli occupation. Manal is a member of Mamas Activating Movements for Abolition and Solidarity (MAMAS) and joined the U.S. Palestinian Community Network earlier this year in Chicago for a powerful MAMAS panel titled “Chicago to Palestine: Mothering is Radical.” The incarceration of Manal, her husband, and their sons is further evidence that reproductive justice has always included—and must continue to include—the struggles of Palestinian mothers and families torn apart by Israeli violence.

On 3 December 2025, Israeli occupation forces (IOF) bulldozers demolished a wood- and construction-materials factory owned by the Ghanem family, in the “Al-Mikhd” area, west of Beit Ula — a town northwest of Hebron (al-Khalil). According to the Ghanem family, the facility included sheds, machinery, goods, offices — covering “more than three dunams” (≈ 3,000 m²). The owner, Safwat Ghanem, reportedly said that the demolition came “despite an Israeli court order to halt the demolition,” which he claimed had been obtained after submitting “all the necessary legal documents.” Ghanem said he was “shocked by the demolition, which targeted all parts of the factory … we were unable to remove them, resulting in losses worth millions of dollars.” Local official Atiyah Al‑Adem, head of Beit Ula Municipality, confirmed that forces stormed the Al-Mikhd area, demolished the factory, and “issued demolition notices for three more facilities. ![](https://www.yemenextra.net/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/asjB35_iPUjzuqbE981mPTczE-m3RIuj-750x430.webp)

Raid on the Palestinian Union of Agricultural Work Committees (UAWC) in Al-Bireh

West Bank, Ramallah, Al-Bireh 01 December, 2025
On December 1, Israeli forces raided the Union of Agricultural Work Committees in Al-Bireh. Palestinian journalists were prevented from covering the event, while Israeli journalists were embedded with the forces and broadcast the abuses and the arrests of members of the association. **Al Haq [statement](https://x.com/alhaq_org/status/1995579993771180260?s=20): ** the Israeli Forces raided & sealed the headquarters of the Union of Agricultural Work Committees (UAWC) in Al-Bireh/Ramallah, as well as its office in Hebron. Several staff members were arrested, and office equipment was confiscated. The IDF left a military order prohibiting the organisation’s work & engagement with its activities. This attack is part of Israel's systematic dismantling of Palestinian organisations working on human rights, the rule of law, and supporting communities steadfastness! We call on the international community, including human rights defenders, & institutions, to condemn this assault & demand the release of all detained UAWC staff members **Pingo statement:** "The Palestinian NGOs Network (PNGO) strongly condemned Israeli occupation forces for raiding the offices of the Union of Agricultural Work Committees (UAWC) in Al-Bireh and occupied Hebron: accompanied by a media crew and marked by theft and destruction, calling the operation an act of occupation piracy against Palestinian civil society. PNGO stressed that the attack is part of a systematic Israeli campaign to cripple Palestinian humanitarian and development institutions and undermine community resilience and food security. The raid took place in areas officially designated as PA-controlled, highlighting ongoing Israeli violations of international law and humanitarian protections. During the Gaza genocide, dozens of NGOs were destroyed and over 500 humanitarian workers were killed, reflecting the same pattern of targeting civilian relief efforts. PNGO urged the United Nations, diplomatic missions, donor states, and the International Criminal Court to take immediate action to protect Palestinian institutions, investigate Israeli crimes, ensure accountability, and strengthen international support for civil society organizations serving Palestinians under occupation" **Israeli [hasbara](https://x.com/Narasi_winda/status/1995510196530184261):** "Judea and Samaria / West Bank Israeli forces advanced today on the offices of the Palestinian Agricultural Councils’ Front in Al-Bireh as new scrutiny falls on the Union of Agricultural Committees (UAWC), an organization outlawed by former Israeli Defense Minister Benny Gantz in 2021 for its ties to the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) terrorist org. Despite the ban and previous IDF raids that sealed its Ramallah headquarters, UAWC continues to operate openly across the West Bank, running harvest campaigns, coordinating with local municipalities, and mobilizing activists. Israeli authorities recently expelled 32 foreign participants involved in the group’s “Al-Awna Samoud” harvest initiative, but its arab staff, including CEO Fuad Abu Seif and regional coordinators, remain active and visible in public events. In posts published in recent days and months, Abu Seif can be seen participating in various events as the organization's CEO and working together with the Palestinian Authority. One of them is a cooperation agreement with the Samua Municipality in the Hebron Hills with the organization. Another central activist is the UAWC project coordinator, Muayad Basharat, who lives in the Tubas area and is active in the northern Jordan Valley. Another activist who can be easily found in the organization's activities is Samah Abu Naim from the village of Batir. A UAWC activist who regularly works at events and in the Shiloh Valley and is not ashamed to wear shirts and hats with the logo of the declared terrorist organization is Kazem Al-Hajj Muhammad. He advertises himself with the organization's symbols and even regularly participates in demonstrations in support of terrorists in Ramallah. And this is only a partial list of activists. Senior terrorists linked to the organization have been implicated in past terror attacks, including Samer Arbid, accused in the killing of Rina Shnerb, fueling criticism that Israel's Central Command and security agencies have failed to enforce the ban on an entity Israel designates as a terrorist organization." **Broader context:** The Dutch government suspended funding to UAWC in 2020 after allegations from NGO Monitor that the group had links to the PFLP and had used funds connected to suspects in a fatal 2019 West Bank bombing. In 2021, Israel designated UAWC and five other Palestinian NGOs as terrorist organizations, citing alleged ties to the PFLP—an action condemned by major human-rights groups and the UN human-rights office. The designation applies in Israel but not in the West Bank. Despite this controversy, UAWC has been recognized internationally, receiving the 2014 Food Sovereignty Prize and the UNDP’s 2014 Equator Prize for its work on sustainable development and poverty reduction.

Isreli soldiers were filmed shooting two Palestinians at point-blank range, killing Yusef ’Asa’sah, 39 years old, and al-Muntaser bel-lah ‘Abdallah, 26 years old. The footage shows the two Palestinians, defined by the military as wanted, being brought out of the building by soldiers and surrendering to them. The soldiers then order them to go back inside and sit on the ground – and then execute them, apparently while posing no threat to the forces.Undercover Border Guard counter-terrorism units from the Menashe Brigade are operating in Jenin as part of Operation “Five Stones” in northern West Bank. Air Force combat helicopters are providing air support to the commando forces on the ground. **Al Haq report** *~1:00 PM – Israeli Unit Infiltration* Israeli special forces infiltrated the Jabal Abu Dhahir neighbourhood in Jenin using vehicles with Palestinian license plates. Forces in uniform, armed and masked, imposed a military cordon on multiple houses; reconnaissance flights and a helicopter were observed. Additional Israeli troops arrived from northern and southern entrances, fully sealing the area and deploying snipers in streets and on rooftops. *Human Shield Incident* Israeli forced a local Palestinian man, absent from home, to act as a human shield after threatening him at work. He was ordered to open doors and windows of evacuated homes while under sniper and drone surveillance; residents, including children, were held in a courtyard and questioned. *Targeting of Zidan Family Warehouse (~1:45 PM)* The IOF targeted the Zidan family’s house and commercial warehouse used for shawarma storage. Military bulldozers, jeeps, and soldiers approached the site, with sporadic gunfire reported in open areas; no active clashes occurred. At ~2:40 PM, journalists arrived and documented a D9 bulldozer opening the warehouse door at ~3:30 PM. *Interaction with Al-Muntasir Abdullah and Youssef Asa'sa* Two unarmed young men exited the warehouse and were immediately attacked by soldiers—kicked and knocked to the ground while unarmed and submissive. Eyewitnesses and press footage confirm no armed resistance or threat from the men. *Killing of the Two Men* The two men entered the warehouse; Israeli soldiers fired at them at close range (~1–2 meters) for several seconds. Soldiers and bulldozers manipulated the warehouse doors, pulling the bodies partly outside. Shots were fired inside the warehouse, leaving bullet marks across walls and contents. *Aftermath (~4:00–6:15 PM)* Soldiers carried the two bodies into a military jeep (“Boz al-Nimr”) and removed them from the scene. IOF remained in the area until ~6:15 PM, raiding additional houses. Heavy bloodstains and bullet marks were observed in the warehouse after the withdrawal. The two men were later identified as Al-Muntasir Billah Mahmoud Qassem Abdulla, 26, and Youssef Ali Youssef Asa'sa, 37 at ~7:30 PM by the Palestinian Ministry of Health. **B’Tselem’s Executive Director, Yuli Novak, [states](https://x.com/btselem/status/1994133431001977142?s=20):** “The execution documented today is the result of an accelerated process of dehumanization of Palestinians and the complete abandonment of their lives by the Israeli regime. In Israel, there is no mechanism that acts to stop the killing of Palestinians or is capable of prosecuting those responsible. It is therefore the duty of the international community to end Israel’s impunity and hold accountable those responsible for planning and carrying out its criminal policies against the Palestinian people.” **The Human Right NGO Al-Haq @alhaq_org states on x on 28 nov. 2025:** *"We condemn the extrajudicial execution of two Palestinians in Jenin by Israeli Occupying Forces on 27 Nov: Al Muntaser Billah Mahmoud Qassem Abdullah (26) & Yousef Ali Yousef Asasa’sa (37). Evidence & footage show they were unarmed, had surrendered & posed no threat. Eyewitnesses say Israeli special forces entered Jenin’s Abu Thahir neighbourhood in vehicles with Palestinian plates, surrounded homes and deployed snipers. The 2 men came out unarmed with hands visible. Soldiers assaulted them, sent them back inside & shot them at close range. This reflects Israel’s widespread and systematic policy of extrajudicial and wilful killings across the occupied Palestinian territory, including during the ongoing #GazaGenocide. We call on the international community to act now, impose sanctions and ensure accountability."* ![](https://euromedmonitor.org/uploads/jenin.png) **The legal analysis of Al Haq:** *1. Law Enforcement Operations* As an occupying power, Israel is bound by international humanitarian law and human rights law and must operate under a law-enforcement paradigm outside active hostilities. The analysis argues that practices such as forcible transfers, arbitrary detention, and ill-treatment constitute persecution, apartheid, and crimes against humanity. *2. Extrajudicial Killings* The killings of Al-Muntasir Abdullah and Youssef Asa'sa are described as arbitrary deprivations of life in violation of the ICCPR and the principles of necessity and proportionality. They are characterised as wilful killings under the Fourth Geneva Convention and as inhumane acts of apartheid under the Rome Statute. *3. Inhuman and Degrading Treatment* The beatings inflicted on the two men amount to inhuman or degrading treatment prohibited by the Convention Against Torture and by international humanitarian law. Such acts are considered grave breaches giving rise to individual criminal responsibility and are framed as acts of apartheid when used to sustain racial domination. *4. Prohibited Use of Human Shields* Using a Palestinian civilian as a human shield violates Article 28 of the Fourth Geneva Convention and Article 51(7) of Additional Protocol I. International law requires that civilians be kept entirely outside hostilities and never exploited to protect or facilitate military operations. ### **On November 28:** **IDF Spin:** As part of Operation “Five Stones,” the IDF announced plans to demolish 24 buildings in the Jenin refugee camp. The move is deemed a “clear and necessary operational need due to explosives used by terrorist organizations, which endanger Israeli forces operating in the area". The IDF official stated aim is to “suppress terrorism,” to dismantle terrorist infrastructure, arrest suspects, confiscate weapons/terror-funds, and prevent the consolidation of militant networks. ## **On November 26:** The operation began around 26 November 2025.The raid is being led by the Menashe, Samaria, and Commando brigades and is focused on the so-called 'five villages' area, including Tammun and Tubas. The governor of Tubas announced that the army imposed a curfew starting at 4 a.m. Wednesday. Curfews were also declared in additional locations. At dawn, Israeli forces have been storming the city for hours amid a heavy military presence and reinforcements coming from Jenin and surrounding checkpoints. It began with a show of force against the civilian Palestinian population. Soldiers stormed numerous buildings in the governorate and imposed a complete curfew. The operation is accompanied by intensive flights of Apache or Attak helicopters and surveillance drones, as well as gunfire from the air. In addition, main roads have been blocked with earth mounds, leading to the isolation of the governorate from its surroundings and cutting it off entirely. Israeli forces closed a vital street surrounding the Turkish Hospital in Tubas in the morning, obstructing movement of citizens and vehicles throughout the area. This is part of a new siege. Israeli forces have launched a “supplementary” military operation in the northern West Bank, imposing a curfew on Tubas governorate and villages including Tamun and Al-Fara’a starting at 4 AM today. Hebrew media reports the operation will last several days. Tubas Governor Ahmad Asaad confirm: “We were informed of a curfew starting at 4:00 a.m. until further notice due to the Israeli army raids.” The residents were ordered indoors from 4 a.m., with the operation to last several days. All government and educational institutions in Tubas were closed. He confirmed Israel has effectively isolated the entire Tubas Governorate from the rest of the West Bank. The Palestinian Red Crescent said its teams in Tubas treated 10 people who were severely beaten—four of whom were transferred to hospital—and transported 30 medical cases, including 20 kidney-dialysis patients and one deceased person, despite Israeli obstruction of ambulance movement in both Tubas city and Tamoun since dawn. ## **On November 27:** Medical teams from the Palestinian Red Crescent revealed they had treated 25 people for injuries who had been detained, interrogated, and assaulted by Israeli soldiers, before being released afterwards. Israeli forces invading the Palestinian town of Tammun, south of Tubas in the northern West Bank, abducted Palestinians from the town and forced them to lie on the ground, abusing them while they were handcuffed and blindfolded. Reports that Israel detained Palestinian journalists Yazan Hamayel, Khalid Bdeir and Shadi Jarar’a as they were reporting on the military invasion of Tubas in the West Bank. ## **On November 29:** The Israeli forces continued on Saturday their large‑scale aggression against Tubas province, raiding homes and kidnaping and assaulting dozens of local residents. Tubas City went through a harsh night as Israeli forces stormed dozens of homes, assaulted residents and kidnaped dozens of young men. Additional raids in Qalqilya, Jenin, and Nablus resulted in at least nine more detentions, including two children and a woman. They also wreaked havoc on roads and infrastructure.
