Murder of Muhammad Majdi al-Ja'bari, 16 y/o in a ramming attack

West Bank, Al-Khalil/Hebron 21 April, 2026
At least 1 martyred
On April 21, 2026, at approximately 6:00 AM, while al-Ja’bari was riding his electric bike to school, he was killed after being run over by a car in the convoy of the Minister of Settlement in the occupation government, Orit Struck, while he was on Route 60 leading to the Kiryat Arba colony, at the Beit Ainun intersection near Hebron. This led to his immediate death. Other sources claimed that the convoy belongs to the Minister Itamar Ben Gvir. "It was unclear which minister the car was meant to protect. The Maariv daily reported that, according to initial findings, the car belonged to National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir’s security convoy. But Haaretz, citing a security source, reported that the car was en route to guard Settlements and National Missions Minister Orit Strock." Both lives in or near Hebron (settlement of Kiryat Arba). Strangely, in a statement, Ben Gvir’s office said that the “vehicle is not the minister’s and the minister was not at the scene.” But added “As for the incident itself: The Arab minor burst into the road at a red light, and the security guard did all he could to avoid an accident and was even injured himself and at the moment is being treated at a hospital,”. **Name of the martyr:** Muhammad Magdy Ahmed Al-Jaabari, 16

School massacre in al Mughayyir by settlers and soldiers

West Bank, Ramallah, Al-Mughayyir 21 April, 2026
At least 2 martyred
**On April 21, 2026, at 10:50**, Israeli forces stormed the village of Al-Mughayir, where confrontations took place with citizens while they were on patrol, and fired stun grenades toward citizens under the pretext that they had been stoned. **At 12:30**, a group of settlers attacked the boys’ school in the village of Al-Mughayir and opened fire on citizens as they were trying to reach the school to evacuate students, as well as toward the school classrooms, which led to the death of two citizens (one of whom was a child student) and the wounding of three citizens. Two citizens were killed, one of them a school student, and three others were injured on Tuesday afternoon by settlers’ bullets. The student Aws Hamdi Al-Naasan (14 years old) and the young man Marzouq Abu Naim (32 years old) were shot dead, and three others were injured by live bullets. It should be noted that the father of the child Aws was martyred by colonial bullets in 2019. According to one of the paramedics, at least three settlers participated in the attack and were deliberately shooting at children trying to flee the classrooms. They shot from the hill surrounding the village, at a distance of 50 meters from the school and overlooking it, which enabled them to target the children and aim their bullets with accuracy approaching sniping. One of the wounded, Atallah Abu Alia, narrates how the occupation forces intervened by storming the village after the school shooting incident to provide protection for the settlers. He says that he was going to the mosque for the noon prayer, and when he heard about the settlers’ attack, he headed toward the school. As he approached it, a military vehicle belonging to the occupation army stopped next to him, and without warning, a soldier shot him, wounding him in the leg. According to this accounts, Israeli forces were still present during the settlers’ shooting, and backed the attack. Later in the day, Israeli armored vehicles blocked the funeral and fired tear gas grenades. **Perpetrators:** The name of a well known settler, Shmuel Vandy, spreaded quickly on the social medias, **but it is a fake news**. The identity of the real gunman was not released and The Israeli military identified him as a civilian reservist, who was not mobilised at the time. Despite the lethal outcome, no arrest has been made, though the military claims an investigation is underway into reports of "rock-throwing". **Names of the martyrs:** - Jihad Marzouk Abu Naim, 32 - Aws Hamdi Al-Naasan, 14 The 3 wounded as a result of gunfire by settlers during their attack on a boys’ school in the village of Al-Mughayir are Ibrahim Ahmed Al-Naasan, Atallah Muhammad Abu Alia, and Muhammad Riyad Abu Alia. **Solidarity tour of Arab and international diplomats** On April 29, an Arab and international diplomats made a solidarity tour in support of the students of the secondary boys’ school in al-Mughayyir village. The delegation included EU Special Representative for the Middle East Peace Process Christophe Bigot, EU Representative to Palestine Alexandre Stutzmann, Jordan’s Ambassador to Palestine Issam Al-Bdour, a host of EU and international diplomats, in addition to Ramallah Governor Laila Ghannam, and Minister of Education and Higher Education Amjad Barham. Participants in the tour affirmed that it came within efforts to bolster students’ resilience, underscore their right to safe education, and reject the continued Israeli attacks against the school and its students. They stressed the need to support the residents of Al-Mughayyir, as well as students and teachers, in cooperation with local and international partners, to ensure a safe and stable educational environment. Students at the school raised slogans condemning colonist attacks and ongoing Israeli violations, and expressed their right to free and safe education. At the conclusion of the tour, a number of participants visited the family of the slain student al Naasan and offered their condolences.

Siege, seizure and attack of Tubasi family house in Jalud

West Bank, Nablus, Jalud 19 Apr, 2026 - 29 Sep, 2026
On 21 January 2026, settlers established the outpost of Tel Talpiyot at the top of a hill known as Jabal 'Ein 'Ena on Talfit village land, between Talfit, Qusra and Jalud. The spot, which lies deep within Area B in the midst of Palestinian villages, is far from Area C and has had no previous settler presence. Quickly, the settlers took over an unfinished house belonging to a Talfit resident and prevented its continued construction. Since then, the villages of Talfit, Qusrah and Jalud have been suffering from severe violence at their hands. In Jalud, the Tubasi family’s account says settlers began putting up a tent beside their house on 19 April, and later took over a neighboring unfinished house, which became a base for the siege. Since this day, they have come every day and do as they please at home: vandalizing the entrance gate to the compound, knocking on the doors of the houses day and night, and throwing stones. The Israeli army arrived, each time, but wihtout any willing to help the Tubasi family. **Chronology — Al-Tubasi family, Jalud** **3 April 2026** — first arson: Settlers poured fuel on the doors of the Tubasi family’s two homes and set them on fire while the family was inside. They extinguished the flames. **April — further attacks**: Settlers returned, threw stones, entered the property, and later set fire to a storage room. A nearby settler outpost was established. **April 2026** — beginning of the siege: Settlers established a tent/outpost on private land near the Tubasi homes. Harassment escalated into threats, roadblocks, stone-throwing, property damage, cutting the water supply and blocking access to the houses. Some members of the family remained in their homes despite repeated attacks and deprivation of food, water and electricity. "The day the outpost was established, we took the women and the small children and dropped them off at the village. "It's not responsible to leave children in a situation like this. It was clear that something bad was going to happen," say the brothers, parents of young children. Settlers also blocked people from bringing supplies and set fire to a vehicle. Late June, Settlers blocked the roads to the homes, effectively trapping the family; water and electricity were subsequently cut, while food, water and medicine were blocked. **On Saturday, April 26,** the settlers again took control of the yard, and family members said they even tried to break into the house. Following what, one of the family members was taken to receive medical assistance due to a mental breakdown. The next day, security cameras recorded the settlers walking in the yard. Family members were not present at the home at the time. When they returned to their home, they found a gaping hole in the warehouse wall of one of the houses, which also serves as covered parking. "We contacted the DCO and the army came and told us, 'Don't touch this." "Leave it open so we can take fingerprints tomorrow," a family member said. "At night, the settlers tried to enter through the opening, we blocked them and took advantage." **On July 22,** Border police block Haaretz journalists from reaching home of Palestinian family to document the situation. This happened as settlers were occupying/controlling the area and the family was being prevented from returning home. Settlers forcibly expelled the Tubasi family from their homes and took over the property. According to Palestinian sources, the seizure followed more than three months of harassment and a prolonged siege. Three Palestinian homes in the area were taken over. **27 August / 6 September** — Supreme Court intervention: The family petitioned Israel's High Court. On 6 September, the Court ordered the authorities to facilitate their return and remove obstacles blocking access to their homes, following a hearing on 27 August. The state was required to report on their return by 22 September. **On Augustus 29, 2026:** The NBC News team was attacked on August 29, 2026, while reporting in Jalud, near Nablus in the occupied West Bank. The team was interviewing Aida Ahmed Abdullah, a Palestinian woman who had been displaced from her home by settlers. Four masked men reportedly emerged from a vehicle with Israeli plates and attacked Abdullah and the NBC crew with sticks and stones. NBC correspondent Matt Bradley injured his arm; Abdullah and three other members of the team were also injured and received medical treatment. Some equipment was damaged. The attack occurred amid a broader escalation of settler violence in the area. On the same day, masked settlers reportedly attacked a Palestinian home in nearby Qusra. Israeli security forces said they intervened to separate the parties and confiscated vehicles allegedly used by the attackers. Netanyahu subsequently condemned the attackers as a “handful of rioters”, while framing their actions as damaging Israel's security operations and international image. **22 September,** The state was supposed to secure the family's return and update the court by September 22 on both their return and measures being taken to prevent settlers from coming back. Instead, it told the court that operational constraints had forced a postponement and that the return would take place "in the coming days." **On the night of september 28, around 11:00 P.M.** on Monday September 28, the IDF's civil administration informed them they would be returned to their home that night. About an hour later, security vehicles escorted the family members, who were driving their car up the hill where the homes are located. Within ten minutes, hordes of settlers (more than 150) arrived and threw stones at the homes. Border Police initially ordered the family to stay inside, as settlers tried to break in. The family member said that Border Police tried to disperse the settlers using tear gas and stun grenades, but the settlers broke in "through the door and the windows." The family then fled to the roof, but the settlers managed to overpower Border Police guards and get to the roof. The 100–150 settlers attacked Jalud. They confronted security forces, threw stones and set Palestinian homes, vehicles and other property on fire. The forces tried to expel the attackers, and when they failed, they put the family members into an armored military vehicle and evacuated them from the scene. According to the family member, half an hour later, smoke began to rise from the homes. Three Border Police officers were lightly wounded and three settlers were arrested. The family was again evacuated by Israeli forces. Their homes had already been damaged and occupied during the settlers' seizure in July. The Israel police added that three vehicles were seized and three young men were arrested: an 18-year-old Jerusalem resident, a northern Israel resident and a 15- and 17-year-old West Bank resident. The IDF's statement said that such incidents "divert attention, undermine stability and harm the defense and counter-terrorism activities of the security forces." **Sources:** https://archive.md/pTy8r#selection-753.0-1579.0 https://archive.md/tsXEV https://archive.is/
