Walaa Jumua Al-Ifranji and Ahmed Saeed Salama were taken to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital, where they were confirmed dead. On December 25, Israeli forces raided a residential building near Al-Ain camp, and sounds of confrontations and heavy gunfire, were heard in the area. Initially, several white vans carrying infiltration special forces entered the camp. They were followed by reinforcements in armed vehicles. The troops deployed throughout the streets. Israeli forces arrested three young men, including Ahmad Abu Shahada, who was injured by the soldiers' gunfire. They invaded several houses, using threats against elderly people and children, searching and caused destruction and damage to the belongings.
