Rescuing survivors from the rubble after the massacre carried out by the occupation, targeting the Engineers Building in the Nuseirat camp in the Gaza Strip.
Around 2:45 pm Israeli airstrikes bombarded the Burj Al-Mohandiseen ('The Engineers' Tower') residential building on Al-Ishrin Street in Nuseirat, central Gaza.
The building was comprised of 24 apartments, and was completely leveled to the ground.
Over 45 people were initially presumed killed among the more than 300 that were said to be sheltering inside during the bombing.
On June 4th, 2026, the Palestinian Civil Defense started work to retrieve the bodies of the victims from under the rubble, eventually recovering around 160 bodies.
