"A short while ago, while shepherding on the villagers’ privately owned land, settlers arrived from the direction of Talia Farm and began attacking the shepherds. Among them were the notorious brothers Yedidya Talia and Betzalel Talia. Betzalel was soon joined by military forces. The settler Shem Tov Luski, from the Old Susya outpost, also arrived and took part.

At the end of the incident: The three Palestinians who had been attacked were taken away by the military, while the settler attackers continued to roam freely. A solidarity activist who arrived at the scene with other activists was also arrested, on the false suspicion that the vehicle she was driving had been stolen."

Location:

The place is Khirbet Lasefar (خربة لصيفر), also written Lasefar or al-Sifir — a Palestinian village in the South Hebron Hills, near Talia Farm and Beit Yatir. The Hebrew spelling in the post, סיפר, appears to refer to this village. The location is confirmed by a 2021 report by Palestinian journalist Basel Adra in Local Call, which describes Lasefar’s proximity to Beit Yatir and the restrictions its residents face. Alternative spelling: Sifir, South Hebron Hills, near Talia Farm and Beit Yatir.
