"After his release from Israel's torture camps, Majdi Al-Ayoubi recalled how an Israeli intelligence officer told him they had executed his six-month pregnant wife and his mother after raiding their home and kidnapping him during the invasion of the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood in Gaza City in May 2024. Today, a year into the alleged ceasefire, an Israeli airstrike targeted Majdi's vehicle in Gaza's Tel al-Hawa neighborhood, killing him, wiping out his entire family." - Source

2 men killed while transporting canned foodAround 5 pm, an Israeli airstrike targeted a car transporting large quantities of canned corn on Al-Sinaa Street in Gaza City, killing two men, including a Palestinian freed from Israeli detention.
One of the martyrs, Majdi Al-Ayoubi, was previously abducted and held in Israeli detention. During Israel's 2024 invasion and destruction of the Zaytoun neighborhood of Gaza City, Majdi and his pregnant wife and mother were besieged at home. Majdi was abducted to Israeli prisons including Ofer and the infamous Sde Teiman torture camp. During his detention at Ofer prison, around a month before he was freed, an Israeli intelligence officer told him that they had killed his expectant wife and mother.
The hope to meet his firstborn was what gave him resolve to remain steadfast.
