"The Israeli army has forcibly evicted Palestinian farming families from their homes and land for their livestock in the occupied West Bank, east of Arraba near Jenin, after declaring the area a military zone. Residents were given days to leave as military vehicles moved in, forcing farmers to load water tanks, animal shelters and belongings under threat of demolition. “We’ve lived in this area for 15 years, and then suddenly someone comes along and takes your place,” said Jamal Rashaydeh. Suad Rashaydeh warned the evacuation threatens around 50 people from three families, saying, “We are livestock farmers, and livestock is our livelihood.” Mohammed Rashaydeh said the army first gave a week to leave, then returned with bulldozers and cut the deadline to four days, ignoring requests for more time. Critics say Israel routinely declares Palestinian land as military zones or buffer zones as a pretext to forcibly remove residents and seize land for illegal settlers. Human rights groups describe this as a deliberate tactic of impunity that enables demolitions, displacement, and the expansion of settlements across the occupied West Bank." - Source

Total evacuation of Arraba village for re-establishing an Israeli military camp

on February 9, 2026, following orders to forcibly relocate from the area known as Ma‘askar ʿArraba (Arraba Camp) in the Jenin governorate, Israeli forces are compelling families to evacuate their homes and forcibly displace them, in preparation for re-establishing a military camp on the town's land.

Israeli forces issued evacuation orders to Palestinian families living in the area, forcing them to leave their homes under threat of arrest and confiscation of livestock, because the army intends to return to the site and re-establish a military post there. The report includes testimonies of residents forced to pack up quickly and leave.

The Palestinian families who had lived there for many years were hurriedly moving their possessions and livestock to other locations under pressure from the occupation forces. Local officials said residents were threatened with detention if they did not comply. The site had previously been abandoned under the 2005 disengagement plan.
