"🫒The olive harvest season is the most beautiful time of year for Palestinians a moment when we feel deeply connected to ourland, surrounded by the scent of olives and fresh olive oil, the essence of Palestine itself. But this year, that joy has been crushed. The Israeli occupation deliberately destroyed olive presses and agricultural lands across Gaza, including one of the most advanced olive oil presses in the Strip, known for its modern machinery and high-quality production. The occupation knew exactly what it was doing: destroying the olive harvest means destroying Palestinians’ bond with their land, our traditions, and our sense of life. Yet even amid the devastation, people in Gaza hold onto one truth, that the land will rise again.
