On September 12, 2025, a young man, Muhammad Issa Ahmed Alawi (21 years old), from the village of Deir Jarir, died in the evening, as a result of being shot by occupation forces in the village of Deir Jarir, northeast of Ramallah in the Occupied West Bank.

According to he head of the Deir Jarir Village Council, Fathi Hamdan, the young man Alawi was seriously injured at dawn on September 12 after the Israeli soldiers opened fire on a group of young men at the street connecting the village and the neighboring town of Silwad. He was subsequently transferred to the Palestine Medical Complex in the city of Ramallah, where he was declared dead on September 13, Saturday evening, as a result of his injuries.
