"Deir Jarir – Three days ago, Israeli occupiers raided the village of Deir Jarir, opening live fire. The wounded were rushed to a medical center after being struck by live ammunition. Two days later, one of the wounded, Mohammad Issa Alawi, succumbed to his injuries and was declared a martyr."

Summary execution of Mohammad Issa Alawi by an Israeli soldier in Deir JarirOn September 12, 2025, a young man, Muhammad Issa Ahmed Alawi (21 years old), from the village of Deir Jarir, died in the evening, as a result of being shot by occupation forces in the village of Deir Jarir, northeast of Ramallah in the Occupied West Bank.
According to he head of the Deir Jarir Village Council, Fathi Hamdan, the young man Alawi was seriously injured at dawn on September 12 after the Israeli soldiers opened fire on a group of young men at the street connecting the village and the neighboring town of Silwad. He was subsequently transferred to the Palestine Medical Complex in the city of Ramallah, where he was declared dead on September 13, Saturday evening, as a result of his injuries.
