"2/4 First, soldiers and police arrived at the scene, claiming that the land was state land. They later decided that it was survey land, and threatened to arrest the Palestinians and solidarity activists, claiming that they were not allowed to be there. Later, after the settlers had left, soldiers from the Civil Administration arrived and determined that the land was indeed privately owned Palestinian land, and that the settlers were not allowed to be there."
