Palestinians rushed frantically to search victims of the Sheick Redwan's Police Center after a massive explosion shook the place

Original Social Media Post

"This is what happened to my fellow journalist Youssef Fares today… A terrifying premonition gripped me moments before warplanes bombed the Sheikh Radwan police station—located on one of two routes my son Mohammed takes every morning to buy household necessities. The massive explosion shook the place. I rushed out frantically, searching for my “support,” instinctively turning on my phone camera, as I’ve grown used to doing on my way to every massacre over the past two years. I kept whispering, “God, please don’t let him be coming from here.” I cautiously and fearfully examined the faces of the passersby who had been killed, my heart pounding—until I finally saw him, hiding inside one of the nearby shops. Do you understand what it means for a parent to bid farewell to a piece of their heart with every ordinary errand—going to the store, to school, to the street? This is the rhythm of life under genocide that we are forced to live." - Source

Massacre of a police station headquarters in Al-Sheikh Redwan

Around 11 a.m., on January 31, 2026, Israeli warplanes fired two missiles at al-Sheikh Redwan Police Station, near Bahloul Petrol Station in al-Naser neighborhood, Gaza City. As a result of the attack, 15 people were killed, including six civilians who were inside the station at the time and nine Palestinian police officers, among them four female officers, while others sustained injuries of varying severity
